Hello and welcome to your Project Assessment.

This assessment is designed to evaluate your understanding of the following unit(s) of competency: FBPWHS3001 Contribute to Work Health and Safety Processes.

The tasks selected in this assessment have been designed to ensure you are able to demonstrate the appropriate level of competency based on the requirements of this unit.

When and where will this assessment be completed?

  • Your assessor will provide you with information on when and where this task will be completed. This may include; completing the task in your own time, during scheduled sessions with your assessor or during workplace visits.
  • Your assessor will provide you with the due date for this assessment.

Resources and equipment required to complete this assessment:

This assessment task can be completed with the direct access to any course issued resource or your own research source. To complete this assessment you may require access to the following:

  • Learning materials
  • Relevant business equipment
  • Relevant workplace information. This may include, but is not limited to; Standard Operating Procedures, Policies, templates, organisational data or reports.

 

Academic Integrity

Plagiarism will not be tolerated in any form. All work submitted must be your own. Failing to adhere to this will result in the assessment being deemed not yet satisfactory and may lead to further academic repercussions.

Special Consideration/Reasonable Adjustment

If you have any special considerations or require reasonable adjustments, please inform your assessor prior to beginning the assessment. Reasonable adjustment can be applied in line with the National Food Institute Reasonable Adjustment Policy.

Appeals

If you disagree with the outcome of this assessment, you have the right to appeal.  The process for assessment appeals is outlined in the student handbook that was supplied to you upon commencement.

Notification of Outcome

What happens if I get something wrong?

You will be notified of your assessment result within 28 days of submission. You are able to review your results to identify which responses were satisfactory and which were unsatisfactory. Your assessor will provide you specific feedback on incorrect responses to assist with future submissions.

If you are unclear about the feedback provided it is important that you reach out to your trainer or assessor as they are here to support you throughout the process.

How many attempts do I get?

We understand that sometimes mistakes can happen and many of the questions have been designed to ensure deep learning of the training content has occurred. You are able to have five (5) attempts at this assessment.

What if I reach my maximum attempts?

It is recommended that if you are still experiencing difficulty with obtaining a satisfactory result after two (2) attempts that you reach out to your trainer or assessor for support. If you exhaust your allocated five (5) attempts your assessor will discuss the appropriate course of action with you based on your individual needs and circumstances.
